"Mary Jane Beal, 97, Siemon Lakeview Manor, formerly 
of Stoystown, passed away June 20, 2000 at Somerset 
Hospital.  Born June 4, 1903 in Stonycreek Township, 
daughter of Jacob and Sarah (Ware) Wyant.  Preceded 
in death by  parents, husband, Homer S. in 1964, and 
these brothers and sisters: John, Jacob, William, 
Lester, Lydia, Margaret, Rosie, Minnie and an infant 
sister, Nancy, also granddaughter, Colleen Beal, great-
granddaughter, Lisa Michele Raszewski and son-in-law, 
Don Kennell.  Survived by these children: Edna Kennell, 
Stoystown; and Charles "Bud" Beal Sr., married to the 
former Betty Phillips, Friedens; grandchildren: Debbie, 
married to Barry Fitzgerald; Donna, married to John 
Raszewski Jr.; Charles Jr., married to the former Sue 
Stahl; and Brenda Shaw and friend Kim Welker, all of 
Somerset; great-granddaughters, Ashley Beal and Erica 
Raszewski and great-great-granddaughter, Alyson Marie. 
Also survived by sisters-in-law, Ella Beal and Effie
Wyant and numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Grace 
Lutheran Church, Stoystown, and resident of Stoystown 
since 1945.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 
7-9 p.m. Thursday (today) at Deaner Funeral Home, 
Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
Rev. Walter L. Startzel officiating.  Interment, Somerset 
County Memorial Park."
