Mrs. Zella Crawford Cox Ware Obitaury, 1952

“Mrs. Zella Crawford Cox Ware, 63, Huntington Park, California, formerly of Ogden (Utah) died yesterday in St. Benedict’s hospital after an extended illness.

Mrs. Ware was visiting a daughter, Mrs. Max Fisher, West Point (Utah).
She was a member of the Cotiette club, No 46, Ogden; V. R. W. auxiliary, Huntington Park; G. I. A. auxiliary; B. of L. E., and the B. P. O. Does.

A member of the LDS church, she was an active member of the Manti LDS choir when a girl. At one time she was a Sunday school teacher in Burley, Idaho.

On Nov 23, 1910, she was married to Calvin C. Cox in the LDS Manti Temple. The family lived in Manti until 1917 when they moved to Burley, Idaho. Five years later they moved to Ogden, Utah. She moved to California 15 months ago. Mr. Cox died 17 years ago.
On Jan. 31, 1939, she was married to Richard J. Ware in Farmington (Utah). He died two years ago.

She was born Dec. 20, 1888 in Castle, Utah, a daughter of W. W. and Ellen Ida Colloway Crawford.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Max (Ann) Fisher, West Point (Utah), one granddaughter; one brother, William Elden Crawford, San Diego and one sister, Mrs. Jessie C. Lund, Oakland.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Aultorest mortuary chapel, 835 36th St, with former Bishop Grant Lofgren officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until time of services. interment will be in Manti city cemetery.”
