This is Senator Thomas Edwin Ware Sr a prominent politician and military man for the state of South Carolina. He and his wife (Mary Catherine Jones) are buried at the sight of the Ware old homeplace along with several family members. The Ware Family Cemetery is very run down and many of the graves been vandalized.

This homeplace was known as WARE PLACE and is in a out of the way location off Augusta Road and Old Hundred Road in Pelzer, Greenville County, South Carolina at GPS location of N34 37.768 , W82 23.542″
