“MOUNDS, Ill. — William Ware, 85, of Mounds died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at his home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. K. Donnell Wilson and Matthew Ware officiating. Burial will be at noon in Mound City National Cemetery with military honors provided by Illinois National Guard and area veterans.

Massie Funeral Home in Mounds is in charge of arrangements.
