He was a Captain in the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War and a lifelong farmer.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Rappahannock Christian Church, Dunnsville. Interment will be in the Ware Family Cemetery at Bellevue, Wares Wharf. Marks-Bristow Funeral Home of Tappahannock has charge of arrangements.”
