“Eva Bridges Ware, 83, of Kings Mountain, died August 31, 2008, at White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain.

She was born September 26, 1924, in Gaston County, NC, to the late Ben R and Pearl Bridges Bridges.

INTERMENT: Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery She was retired from Garlock, Inc. and was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church

SURVIVORS: sons Dr. Gene Ware and wife Glenda of Kings Mountain, Roy Ware, Sr. and wife Jeryl of Bessemer City, Ricky Ware of Bessemer City and Alfred Ware and wife Tonda of Clover, SC; daughters Martha Ann Owens and husband Kenneth of Kings Mountain and Sandra Carpenter of Marion, NC; brother Carl Bridges of Kings Mountain; sister Audrey Webster of Kings Mountain; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grand children

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: husband Arthur B Ware; sons Bob, Joe and David Ware; daughter Brenda Sheehan; parents Ben and Pearl Bridges; brother Oliver Bridges; sister Edna McSwain .”
