Marquerite and Mortimer were married by Edmund J. Kulp of the Broadway M. E. Church in Camden City, Camden County, New Jersey. Both of them were living in Pleasantville, Atlantic County, New Jersey prior to their marriage. Marquerite was 19 years old and Mortimer was 23 years old and it was the first marriage for both of them. Matilda and Florence Kulp were the witnesses to the marriage.

Marquerite and Mortimer had at least two children, they were Tillie and William.

After Mortimer died it appears that Marquerite married someone whose last name was Buzby.”
