“Wife of Daniel Dawson Ware and daughter of Elizabeth S. (Pease) and Joseph Smallwood Cheesman. Rachel and Daniel were married on 21 Feb 1871 by Reverend F.R. Brace in Camden County, New Jersey.

Rachel and Daniel had at least six children, they were Walter Grover, Howard Eli, Willis, Charles Leon, Arthur C. and Willis C.

Rachel died from starvation, she could not keep down enough food to sustain life. She also had Apoplexy. Rachel was interred in the Methodist Cemetery in Sicklerville, Camden County, New Jersey on 30 Mar 1930. She was 78 years and 9 months old and died at 112 South Main Street in Glassboro. Zora C. Ware was the Informant on her Death Certificate.”
