“ALDERSON, May 7 — W. T. Ware, Sr., former Alderson resident and father of Mrs. R. L. Womack, of 7th Avenue, Hinton, died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday in the C. and O. hospital at Clifton Forge following a lengthy illness. Ware, 84, had resided in Alderson until the past several years when he had made his home in Clifton Forge with a son, W. T. Ware, Jr. Other survivors include, Charles Ware, of Big Island, Va., and one granddaughter. Funeral services for the former railroad section foreman will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Clifton Forge with burial following in the Alderson cemetery. The Masonic Lodge will be in charge of the rites and members of the lodge will serve as pallbearers.”
