“Richard Ware died Sunday in Goshen Hospital. He was born March 10, 1930 in Goshen, the son of John and Zelda (Spry) Ware. On June 24, 1961 in Ligonier he married Linda Leslie. He moved from Kessington, Mich. to Noble County in 1960. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired in 1980 from Lyon & Greenleaf, Ligonier, as a foreman. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mark (Donna) Vance of Ligonier; a son, Leslie of Ligonier; a brother, Harry of Constantine, Mich.; a half-sister, Mrs. Miles (Vivian) Holderbaum of Goshen; a half-brother, Cleo Martin of Sturgis, Mich.; and 4 grandchildren. One son preceded him in death. Services will be Wednesday in Orr Funeral Home, Ligonier. Burial, Sparta Cemetery.”
