Ware Cemetery is located in Newville, Braxton County, WV
directions to the Knawls creek
First the sign at the cemetery in your photo is now the only one left. The one across the gate has been removed since June 2016. Directions: from Weston, WV, go South on I 79, exit 91 go South on US 19 (left), in Walkersville, WV turn right on Walkersville RD (CR44), about 1.6 miles turn left on Abrams Run RD (CR 46), continue to a Y and take the left on Feather Bed, approximately 1.2 miles the road takes a sharp right turn and now look to the left up the driveway a small sign points up to the cemetery about .2 miles. Warners and Wares are buried plus many others. NOTE: Featherbed is mostly 1 lane and passing is very limited so backing to a driveway or a wide spot is necessary. The road is poorly maintained (2017) and the worst I have ever seen.
Also there are Wares buried in the Casto Cemetery which when continuing from the sharp right turn for 1.2 miles watch for a Casto sign on a post, go right .3 miles up the hill. NOTE: Reclose both gates going to and back because livestock will get out and close the cemetery gate too. There are 6 Ware graves there as well as Riffles.
I think both cemeteries are in Braxton County but close to the Lewis County line.

Hello I am related to al lmk the wares in that cemetary
My grand mother Riffle was born a Ware to William McKinley Ware and Matilda Catherine Sims-Ware. My sister-in-law gave me this information and she could not find where either are buried. Does any one have any information about them and any related Wares. I would greatly appreciate any information. I plan to be in WV late may 2016.
