Born in Greenville, South Carolina, on February 12, 1930; passed away on August 6, 2013 at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam. Arnold is survived by his children, Jim (Yvonne), Jeff (Jean), Tim (Michelle), Greg (Sheila) and Laurie (Glen) Bates; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Hughes. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at the Houston National Veteran’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. “Throughout the years, the melody often changed for mom and dad, but the dance always remained the same.” Married August 27, 1952 – Eternity.
