Kenneth J. Ware Obituary, 2004

Kenneth J. Ware, 89, formerly of Vida and Fairview, passed away Jan. 18, 2004, in Brandon, Fla. He was born to Julius H. and Miriam A. (Dunn) Ware Feb. 28, 1914, in rural McCone County. Ken married Margaret Albers Sept. 24, 1951, in Billings. They farmed and lived in the Vida area of McCone County until 1973, when they moved to Fairview. He moved to Brandon, Fla., in 2002 to be closer to family. He was a member of Gospel Fellowship Church in Wolf Point and the Mayflower Society. Ken is survived by his four daughters, Alberta (Jay) Therkilsen, Brandon, Fla., June (Dean) Jenson, Billings, Nancy Ware, Richland, Wash., and Julie (Mitch) Schweigert, Miles City; and two sons, Ken (Kathy) Ware, Everett, Wash., and Tracy Ware, Fairview. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His wife, Margaret, in 1989, a daughter, Theresa Felton, and a son, Donald Ware, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Jan. 24, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point with Pastor Bruce Bogar officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
