Guy L. Ware of Enfield died Saturday at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs. He was 72. Born in Randolph, Maine, he lived in Enfield for many years. He worked at the Ames Department Store for several years before his retirement, and previously worked for Old Fox Fertilizer and Nutmeg Lines. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Baker Ware; a daughter, Donna Johnson, a son, Steven, and a sister, Beatrice Sansoucy, all of Augusta, Maine; a brother, Carroll, of Lakeville, Fla.; two stepsons Ernest and Paul Jensen; a stepdaughter, Peggy Smith; and three grandchildren. Services will be held at noon Wednesday at at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. through noon. Private burial will take place in Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
