The funeral for Mrs. Matilda Clifton Ware, formerly of Chester County, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Park Cemetery. Mrs. Ware died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. King’s Funeral Home, 4000 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, is in charge of arrangements.
