
Maurice Howard Ware passed away at the age of 70 on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at his home in Wartrace, Tenn. Born in Rogers , Ark., on May 17, 1942, Ware to his mother, Alma Neva Crane Ware, and father Maurice Leon “Ted” Ware, he graduated as the valedictorian of Kingston High School in Kingston, Ark., in 1960. As owner of Ware Brothers Builders, he completed many projects in Northwest Arkansas. An avid gardener, he enjoyed quiet solitude and his family. He was described by his family as strong, stoic, and a good provider, as well as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who dedicated most of his time to his family. He is survived by his wife, Nora Bryce Corlett Ware of Wartrace, Tenn.; and his sister, Patricia Bartholomew of Carlisle, Iowa; his brother, Terrence and Barbara Ware of Huntsville, Ark.; and his brother, Ronald and Edna May Ware of Fort Smith, Ark. He is also survived by his children, Angela Jo Ware of Wartrace, Tenn.; Michael Howard and Regina Ware of Shelbyville, Tenn.; Matthew Leon and Amanda Ware of Wartrace, Tenn.; and Molly Jo Ware Fields and Josh Fields of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is survived by his grandchildren, Meagan Nicole and Eric Nelms, Lauren Ware, Rebecca Basham, Jack Rose, Collin Ware, Bryce Ware, and Kindle Ware; and his great-grandchildren, Kelsey McGowan, Alyssa Nelms, Adelyn Nelms, and Ethan Nelms; and numerous nieces and nephews. The memorial service will be held in Kingston, Ark.
