Onis E. Ware Obituary, 1992

Onis E. ”Red” Ware, 74, of 815 Dalton St., Owensboro, died Thursday, March 26, 1992, at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Daviess County, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was a former oilfield worker and a retired security guard at Pinkerton Tobacco Co. Survivors include his wife, Helen Ware; one son, Joe Ellis Ware of Owensboro; one stepdaughter, Shirley Lambert of Owensboro; two stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Bethel Ware of Philpot. Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. Burial in Bells Run Cemetery. Visitation noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
