Ware, Robert M., 90, of Denver, CO passed away November 1, 2014 at Rose Medical Center in Denver with his family at his side. Bob was born September 1, 1924 in Garrison, NY, to Edgar Thomas Ware of Garrison, NY and Dora Brunschweiler of Manchester, England. Bob was a member of the 10th Mountain Division and fought in WWII in the mountains of Italy. After the war, he sold life insurance, acquired a pilot’s license and taught skiing at Keystone Ski Resort in CO. He was a member of the Professional Ski Instructors Association for over 45 years. He is survived by son, David C. Ware of Vancouver, WA, and daughter Jennifer R. Swint of McLean, VA, and four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Bob’s name to the 10th Mountain Division Foundation. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a future date.
