Ruth Ware passed away in Ellensburg, WA, on November 16, 2003. She was 94 years old. Ruth was born on May 31, 1909, in Seattle, WA, the first child of Arthur and Jennie Johnson Anderson, immigrants from Sweden. She was a local resident for 60 years. Ruth was fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to Sweden to meet her relatives. Ruth was pre-deceased by her husband of 57 years, Walter Ware brothers Bertil, John Martin, Harold, Arthur, and Carl, and sister Evelyn. Survivors include her daughters Martha Simon and Viola Garrison-Cota, both of Ellensburg, WA sister-in-law Kathleen Taylor of Brier, WA 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth enjoyed singing, music, gardening, sewing for her family, and crocheting. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at Greenacres| Moles Cemetery.
