DEWEY, OK Ware-Smith, Marie Mary, 89, died at 6:17 a.m., on Wednesday at the Forrest Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday in the Grenola Methodist Church at Grenola, KS with Mr. Robert Hamm of Dewey, OK officiating. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Grenola. Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mrs. Smith may do so to: Comforting Hands Hospice 2232 S.E. Washington Blvd. Bartlesville, OK 74006. Marie Mary Ware-Smith was born April 10, 1921 at Baynsville, KS to John E. and Eda (Loger) Mourning. She grew up and received her education in Clearwater, KS graduating high school there in 1939. She was married to David E. Ware in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1989. She later was married to Arthur Smith in 1993 and he preceded her in death in 2007. Mrs. Smith was a loving wife and mother and a member of the Grenola Methodist Church for many years. Survivors include two sons; Charles E. Ware of Bartlesville, OK and David E. Ware of Grenola, KS; one daughter Mary Elaine Gantz of Oak Harbor, WA; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was also preceded in death by her parents and her son John E. Ware in 2004\
