
Robert William Ware, 73, of Radcliff, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was in the military for 20 years and served in Vietnam. Mr. Ware also worked for civil service for 26 years, was a referee and umpire for more than 30 years and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Elaine Ware; his parents, Ruel and Alice Ware; a twin brother, Ronald; three brothers, Lionel, Art and James; and two sisters, Roberta and Jenny.
He is survived by his children, Brenda (Harold) Ro Jean Betts, Julie Lee Anne Ware, Robert (Karen) William Ware Jr., Brian Thomas Ware, Judith (Robin) Alice Virginia Johnson and Joel Anthony Ware; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister, Danny and Lois; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Brother Brad Braudis officiating. Burial with military honors follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, and continues at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home,
