NEWKIRK, Okla. – Allen R. Ware, 65, died Oct. 2, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1944, in Dighton, the son of Roy F. and Emma M. Westphal Ware. A former resident of Kinsley, he was a meat cutter.

Survivors include: son, Justin, Rogers, Ark.; daughters, Debbie McCullaugh, Aurora, Mo., Julie McCoy, Arkansas City, and Valerie Ware, San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral was 1 p.m. Wednesday at McKillip Memorial Chapel, Kinsley, with the Rev. Dennis Kuder presiding. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley. Memorials may be sent to Arkansas City Rec Center in care of the chapel.
