Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery in Carmack. Visitation was from 9 – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Thornton officiated.
Mrs. Reed was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church. She was a retired metal textile factory worker.
She is preceded in death by parents, J.L. and Minnie Doster Cook; husband, B.W. Reed; sons, Robert and Kenny; daughters, Patricia Kay and Linda Sue; brothers, Bennie, Leroy, Claude, Doris and B.H.
She is survived by sons, Rodger (Donna) Ware and Danny Ware; daughter, Rose Elaine (Kenneth) Loos; sister, Eula Rigby; adopted granddaughter, Brittany Roseann Rodgers; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jerry Rigby, Kyle Reynolds, James Rodgers, Joe Hood, Jeff Ward and Justin Abernathy.
