Rachel Scheurer, 62, of Magee passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at her residence. Born in Magee on May 1, 1949, a daughter of the late Johnny Rachel (Cook) and Joseph B. Ware, she is survived by her husband, Marvin Scheurer of Magee; four sons, Joseph M. (Rhonda) Welch of Mt. Olive; Clay (Tanya) Welch of Waynesboro; Wayne (Kim) Lowery of Florence and Steve (Tracy) Scheurer of Richland; two daughters, Sandra (Tommy) Meadows of Brandon and Amanda Voles of Magee. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; a sister, Jo Marilyn (Rodney) Winterstein of Jackson and a brother, Tim (Janice) Ware of Magee.

Visitation was Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Tutor Funeral Home, Magee. The religious service was at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel, Magee, on Sunday, April 22, 2012, with Rev. Maxwell Price officiating. Interment was in Beulah Cemetery.
