Emily Vaitiekatis Ware, a retired baker and homemaker from Jenkintown, died July 25 at her daughter’s home in Roslyn. She was 74.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Ware was a baker with the Linton Co. of Philadelphia for about 25 years, retiring in the early 1960s. She moved to Jenkintown in 1975 from the West Oak Lane section of the city.
She was the widow of George D. Ware. She is survived by a daughter, Carol R. Hermann; a sister, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial was said at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Jenkintown.
Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
Arrangements were by the McGoldrick Funeral Home of Jenkintown.
