MOUNT ZION -Mae Evans Ware, 91, of Woodland Nursing Center, Mount Zion, died

4:08 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 2, 1991) in St. Mary’s Hospital.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Moweaqua.

Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: Grace Gospel Fellowship Church, Elwin.

Mrs. Ware was born in Moweaqua on March 31, 1900, daughter of Charles William

Arthur and Sarah Ann Bilyeu Evans. She was a member of Grace Gospel Fellowship

Church of Elwin. She had worked for the telephone company as an operator, had

been a Wabash telephone operator and had worked for Bell Beauty Shop. She

married Henry Eugene Ware in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1977.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by one sister and four

brothers.
