Myrtle Ware Obituary, 1998

Myrtle Ware, 101, Chicago, died Feb. 21 at Central Baptist Home in Norridge. She was born in Chicago, Jan. 26, 1897 and was a homemaker.

Visitation was held Feb. 23 at the M. J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Her funeral service was conducted Feb. 24 at the funeral home by the Rev. Melody Eastman, associate pastor of Edison Park Lutheran Church. Interment was at Ridgewood Cemetery.

She was the wife of the late Elmer Ware Sr.; mother of Laurine (the late Anton) Tichy, Luella (the late Donald) Porcaro, Virginia (the late Theodore) Westenfelt of Des Plaines, Robert (Erna) of Niles and the late Elmer Jr. (Laverne); grandmother of Ronald, Raymond, Laura, Debra, Paul, Anne and Bonnie; great-grandmother of 12; great-great grandmother of one.
