A graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in mechanical engineering, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a foreman in the brick laying department for 40 years, before retiring in 1971.
Born in Collingwood, N.J., he was a son of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Nichols) Ware.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and its council and a member of the Men’s Brotherhood. He was a former president of Fairview Cemetery Association, Moorestown.
He was a former Cub Scout Master of Troop 50, Moorestown.
Survivors: Wife; son, David W. of Bath; daughters, Pamela J. Yurko of Lower Nazareth Township, Linda L. Kattef of Veston, Mass.; sister, Louise Williams of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
