Age 78, of the Hill District passed away peacefully on January 18, 2009 surrounded by her daughter Arlene and family members. She was born January 16, 1931 in Pgh. daughter of the late Octavia Rebecca Edmonds and the late Louie Thomas, she is survived her loving children Joanne Luck (Willie), Arlene R. Ware, Nadine Ware and Michael W. Ware; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a multitude of family and friends. Visitation be held on Thursday 4-9pm in the SAMUEL J. JONES FUNERAL HOME INC., 2644 Wylie, Ave., Hill Dist. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11am. in the Macedonia Baptist Church, 2225 Bedford Ave., Interment Allegheny Cemetery
