She was a native of Hawkins County and a resident of McMinn County for 84 years.
She was the daughter of the late Meigs and Elizabeth Davis Brewer. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Olin F. Ware; her second husband, Lee Barker; son, Dan Ware; and two brothers: Meigs Brewer and James Connor.
She was an active member of Goodsprings Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law: Allen and Jean Ware of Cleveland, and Steve and Pamela Ware of Riceville; one daughter-in-law, Glenna Ware Elkins of Etowah; seven grandchildren: Jeffery Ware, Jay Ware, Rhonda Ware Jenkins, Danna Ware Axmacher, Kristen Ware Reed, Tracey Ware and Michael Allen Ware; two step-grandchildren: James Kozlowski and Christian Kleppin; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Glen Brewer of Riverside, Calif.
Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2003, and proceed to Double Springs Cemetery for the 10 a.m. graveside service with the Rev. Jack Burns officiating. Pallbearers will be Jay Ware, Jeff Ware, Tracey Ware, Michael Ware, Larry Blair and Jim Liner.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
