WORCESTER Mark D. Ware, 52, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, in UMASS Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

He leaves his father, Humphrey H. Ware, Sr., of Leominster; 4 brothers, Humphrey H. Ware, Jr. of Leominster, William R. Ware of Orange, VA, Patrick L. Ware of Leominster, Philip L. Ware of Holden; a nephew, Owen C. Ware of Orange, VA. He was born in Clinton, a son of Catherine (Harnett) Ware who died in 1990. A sister, Mary B. Ware died in 1998.

Mark was employed for many years as a telecommunications technician for NextiraOne in Marlboro. He assisted in telecommunications systems installations and services at many universities, hospitals and banking institutions throughout New England.

He was an avid skier and dedicated fan of rock n’ roll. He greatly enjoyed season ski passes at a local ski area and loved being in the mountains and outdoors.

The calling hours are from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12 in Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services are private. The family requests donations be made to The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (norml.org) in lieu of flowers.
