Sidney was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Ware; grandfather, Sidney J. Mullins; paternal grandparents, Cap and Maude Ware.
Survivors include his mother, Lillian Mullins Ware Barton; stepfather, Murel Barton; grandmother, Elsie Steiner Mullins, all of Chattanooga; sister, Carla Ware, Miami, Fla.; stepbrother, Daryl Barton, Ringgold; stepsister, Angela Barton Seanor, Huntsville, Ala.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mark Seanor officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
