Charlie Ware of Chattanooga died Saturday, May 19, 2001, in a local health care facility.

He was retired from U.S. Pipe and a member of Galilee Baptist Church.

Survivors include his devoted wife Bertha Ware; son, Manuel Lewis; daughter, Vanessa Lewis, all of Chattanooga; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers, four sisters; devoted daughter-in-law, Connie Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery with pastor E. R. Jacks officiating.

Visitation today from 7-8 p.m. in the chapel.
