KATHERLINA ROGERS WARE, 58, of 678 Marianna, cook for CK’s Coffee Shop, died of heart failure Saturday at her home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Pisgah CME Church, where she was a member, with burial in New Park Cemetery on Horn Lake Road. She also was a member of the Melrose Alumni Association’s Class of 1956. Harrison’s Orange Mound Funeral Home has charge. She leaves a daughter, Jacqueline Ware Davis of Riverside, Calif.; a son, Sylvester Ware Jr. of Detroit; two sisters, Prudella Rogers Smith of Detroit and Robbie Rogers Williams of Inglewood, Calif., and three grandchildren.
