Ruth Dodson Bailey Ware, 87, of Sandy Ridge, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born on May 3, 1925, in Stokes County, NC, to the late Clemon and Eulala Carter Dodson. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack C. Bailey and William Ware; a daughter, Myrtle Dawn Bailey; brothers, James Carey Dodson and Raymond Dodson; and a sister, Lenora Ray. Survivors include a son, John C. Bailey; daughters, Barbara (Vester) Adkins, Wanda Bailey, Donna Miller, and Jackie (John) Brammer; brothers, Jamie (Shelvie) Dodson and Wade (Edith) Dodson; sisters, Lois Smith, Artie (Garland) Watkins, and Carolyn Bowman; sister-in-law, Peggy Parsley; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
