Courtland – NONA ALEEN WARE PATTON, 83, retired salesperson, passed away February 14, 2007. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, February 15; and funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, February 16 at Dickins Funeral Home Chapel. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Batesville, MS. Mrs. Patton was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Patton, her parents; grandsons, Larry Raye Patton and Travis Edwin Patton; and granddaughters, Jerri Lynn Tutor and Patricia Faye Patton. She is survived by three sons, Edwin Bonner of Water Valley, MS, Joe Patton of Collinsville, VA and Larry Patton of Courtland, MS; three daughters, Edwin Bonner of Pope, MS, Shirley Clark of Courtland, MS and Nona Weeks of Slaughter, LA; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
