
BARBERTON — Roy C. Ware, 74, died Saturday, May 20, 2006.
A resident of Barberton for 60 years, he retired from Rockwell International. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of National Lodge 568 F&AM and was also a member of the Akron Baptist Temple.
Roy enjoyed his family and helping friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Cameron and Masil; brother, Tommy; brothers-in-law, Walter Moses and Frank Lindsey; and cat, “Puss. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mae; daughter, Carol Tepus; son, Charles Ron (Martha) Tomblin; daughter, Judy (Ralph) Rabatin; grandson and hunting partner, Dwayne; grandchildren, Georgette, Charlie, Tammy, Matt, David; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Kathleen Moses, Rosemary Lindsey, Nancy (Dan) Blaner; numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Avenue, Barberton, with Mike Nichols officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery where military services will be conducted by Firestone V.F.W. 3383. Visitation will be TODAY, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with Masonic services at 7:30 p.m., there will also be visitation on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
