Lee Ware, of Petersburg, VA, died at the Beaufont Health Care Center, Richmond, VA. He attended Laruinburg High School and retired from the Department of Army after 31 years of service. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Petersburg, VA and a longtime member of the Custer Street Community

A funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2004, at Greater Faith A.M.E. Zion Church, Petersburg, VA.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the staff of the Tucker Funeral Home, 415 Halifax St., Petersburg, VA.”
