Ware was born in Kilmichael on September 8, 1918, to the late Esley Edward and Sollie Annie Neely Brooks. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church near Poplar Creek.
Ware is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne Ware and his wife, Bet, of Winona; three grandchildren, Timmy and Tommy Ware and Brigette McAlister; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Luther Ware; daughter, Annie Jean Ware; son, Homer Hugo Ware; a grandson, Michael “Mike” Ware; and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 16, at Poplar Creek Nations Cemetery near Poplar Creek, with Rev. Ben Hill officiating.
