Mrs. Hancock, 82, died of heart failure Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
She was born in Weir on May 10, 1931, to the late Lelon and Kizzie Sarah Bright Campbell and resided in the Itta Bena area most of her life. She was a member of Itta Bena Baptist Church and worked at Lenard Eggs, Larry’s Fish House and Burger King before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Elbert Ware and Herman Hancock; a son, Silas Ware; and a daughter, Sarah Ware Orr.
She is survived by a son, Doyle Ware of Greenwood, and his wife, Darlene; two daughters, Betty Ware of Greenwood and Annie Ohlsson of Ooltewah, Tenn., and her husband, Scott; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Higdon Herrington will officiate at the services.
Pallbearers will be Larken Ware, Scott Ohlsson, Ricky Bennett, Lee Woodard, Ray Brasel and J.D. Brasel.
