CLINTON – Naomi Mildred Ware, 79, of Clinton died at 10 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 28, 1991) at Crestview Nursing Center, Clinton.

Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, the Rev. Billy Bell officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ware was born Aug. 15, 1912, in DeWitt County, the daughter of Ernest W. and Martha May Arthur Day. She married Wilbur R. Ware June 14, 1952, in Clinton. He died July 23, 1983.

Surviving are one stepson, Melvin L. Ware, LaPorte, Ind.; six brothers, William T. Day, Pinckneyville; John W. Day, Ernest W. Day, and Lloyd S. Day, all of Clinton; Arthur F. Day, Lincoln; and Lyle Day, Phoenix, Ariz.; 29 stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Mrs. Ware was a member of Clinton Assembly of God Church.
