Services for Ware will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with the Revs. Leslie Glover and Tom Sumners. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery with full military honors being provided by the Tennessee State Guard. The family will visit with friends Sunday after 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Claflin, Kan., native was the son of the late Frank L. and Gertrude Ryan Ware. He was the widower of Alverda Bruesewitz Ware who died April 28, 2006. He was retired from Heil Quaker and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Nathan) Johnson of Lewisburg; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Chuck Ware.
Pallbearers will be Chris Ware, Mark Wells, Nathan Johnson, Chuck Ware, Brad Johnson and Matt Cashion.
