My name is Kathy Ware and I love teaching and working with young children.  This is my ninth year of teaching and my 7th year here in District five.  I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I was also a cheerleader for the Gamecocks!  I love spending time with my husband Steve, my daughter Kinleigh (7), my son Preston (5), my daughter Blakely (4), and my two step-daughters Alexis and Allison.

Carol Ayers Ware of Fieldsboro, N.J. departed this life on Sunday, May 20, 2018, at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, N.J. She was 74. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Mt. Joan Marie Ware, 86, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side, Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Sacramento CA. A native Californian, born September 17, 1931, in Sacramento, CA; the only child of Ernest &; Georgie Schweitzer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Billy F. Ware. She is survived by her three daughters; Sondra Lathe of Sacramento, CA, Linda Haughton (Marc) of Wichita, KS and Mara Nursement (Mike) of Alta, CA; four grandchildren; Nicholas, Marcus, Alicia &; Christopher as well as four great grandchildren, numerous nieces &; nephews and a host of friends. Joan was a lifelong San Francisco 49er Fan, a member of the Women of the Moose, loved quarter midget, sprint car and AMA Flat track racing, riding motorcycles, Christmas and her Santa collection, loved sports in general, the ocean, her family and spending time with her grandchildren. At her request a “;Celebration of Life”; will be held on Saturday, June 2nd from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for all family and friends to attend, at her home in Sacramento, CA. Barbara Ware Shepherd Obituary, 2018

Barbara Ware Shepherd, born on March 10, 1936 and passed on May 22, 2018 to a more peaceful life. Preceded by her loving husband, Henry Winston Shepherd; her daughter, Barbara Ware Shepherd; and survived by her son, Henry Winston Shepherd, Jr.

Barbara was born at MCV and grew up on the shore of the Rappahannock River surrounded by a large family of loving relatives… The best time of her life. After her marriage, she and her family lived in Lynchburg, VA; Richmond, VA; U.S. Virgin Islands; Longboat Key, FL; Long Island, NY; and finally, Williamsburg, VA over 50 years ago. She became one of the first “Welcome Wagon” hostesses of Williamsburg. A volunteer for the National Park Service at Jamestown for over 40 years, a nurse assistant at James Blair and Lafayette High Schools. Working with Doctor Charles Foley as an assistant for many years. An avid bridge player and regular high school football attendee, she loved her community and many friends.

Burial will be private at Cedar Grove with Life Services at a later date. Details to be announced.

Mary Morgan Ware Obituary, 2018

Mary Morgan Ware, 70, of Cuba passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral Service for Sister Ware will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Cuba. Rev. Jered Gibbs, church pastor. Rev.

Kenneth Bell is to officiate with Interment to follow in Cagus Cemetery in Cuba. Public viewing and visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at McInnis Mortuary in Livingston and she will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service time with McInnis Mortuary of Livingston entrusted with all arrangements.

Heartfelt and sincere sympathy is extended to the entire bereaved Ware family especially her children, Rev. Kenneth (Sylvia) Bell, Patricia Ruffin (Joe), Tommie Bell, Vera Parker (LJ), her sisters, Sister Vera Dees and Sister Beulah Clayton, her brother; Brother Johnny Morgan (Donna) along with her many other relatives and friends.

Janice Ware Fowler Obituary, 2018

Private graveside services for Jan Ware Fowler, 71, of Henderson will be at the Ware Family Cemetery at a later date. Jan died Friday, May 18, 2018 at her home in Henderson.

Janice Sue Ware was born April 11, 1947 to J. V. and Billirene Westmoreland Ware in Kilgore. She was a 1966 graduate of Kilgore High School and attended the Bish-Mathis Business School in Longview. Jan was the next to oldest of the five singing Ware Sisters. She was a true homemaker, home schooling her children and her grandchildren. Jan learned to cook at young age and enjoyed sharing with her friends and family.

She was a Christ centered person, being raised at Forest Home Baptist Church in Kilgore and of recent, New Life Worship Center in Tyler. Jan enjoyed nature with her flowers and animals.

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her husband of 47 years, Brent Fowler of Henderson; two sons, Craig Fowler and his wife Jamie of Henderson, Heath Fowler and his wife Christy of Kilgore; two grandchildren, Justin Fowler of Flagstaff, Ariz., Joshua Fowler of Henderson; four sisters, Judy and Sonny Hanks of Kilgore, Jean and Jerry Howell of Rowlett, Janie and Jerry Madison of Winnsboro and Joy and Kevin Best of Lindale; and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joey Ware.

John Link Ware Obituary, 2018

Funeral services for John Link Ware, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Minister Toby Ryder will officiate the services. Interment will follow in the Ardoin-Gauthier Cemetery. John Ware, 63, of Belle Chasse. A man with a heart of gold, gained his Heavenly wings May 16, 2018, after a heroic battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Doris Ware. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 43 years Theresa Suire Ware. He leaves behind his sons, William “Billy” Ware (Tonya), Clinton Ware (Brandi), and Randy Ware (Tracey). He leaves behind his beloved grandkids Trey and Trent Ware and his recently gained grandkids Avery and Payten Burke. He also leaves behind two brothers, Mallory and Ricky Ware. He will also be missed by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-laws, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. John was proud to be a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed his job at Belle Chasse Marine Transportation as a boat Captain. John worked hard to provide a great life for the family that he adored. When he was not hard at work, he loved working with wood, fishing, shooting his guns, and traveling with his wife and family. Heaven is gaining a very special angel, who has touched so many lives here on Earth. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice and their wonderful nurses that helped with his care in his and our time of need. Visitation was held on Sunday, May 20, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and also on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. till time of service. SPARTANBURG, SC– Martha Elwell Ware, 87, of Ashlan Village, Lyman, wife of the late George Davis Ware, died Sunday, May 27, 2018, at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum. She was born in Abbeville, SC to the late Henry Thomas Elwell and Mabel Campbell Elwell. Martha Ware was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of Cannons Campground Methodist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl, Thomas, Bobby and Billy Elwell and three sisters, Vera Hall, Pearl Cheek and Maxine Chalmers. Mrs. Ware is survived by her daughter, Joy Malone (Wylie) of Wellford; her son, Rex Ware (Tillie) of Tallahassee, FL; and a brother, Luther Elwell (Barbara), of Abbeville. She was immensely proud of her seven grandchildren, Amy Perry (Rob), Nathan Malone (Chara), Justin Malone (Ashley), Mark Malone, Davis Ware, Patrick Ware, and Alex Ware, as well as her six great-grandchildren, Macie, Ramsey, Michael, Julianne, Samuel, and Kendal. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 2:30PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018, in the fellowship hall of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church in Abbeville. Funeral services will follow in the sanctuary at 2:30PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
