Ruby W. Ware Obituary, 1995

Ruby W. Ware was a constant volunteer. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and she was known for her willingness to visit the sick and to help people in need.

“Mission work is my calling,” she would say.

Mrs. Ware, 87, died Friday at the Hospice of the Western Reserve.

She was born in Lowndes County, Ala. She moved to Akron, where she worked in war plants during World War II. She married Meriweather “Neamon” Ware in 1951 and they lived in Cleveland. Her husband died in 1993. Mrs. Ware lived most recently in Euclid.

She is survived by a sister, Alice Russell of Mobile, Ala.

Services were yesterday at Watson’s Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Claude Mozell Ware Obituary, 2001

Claude Mozell Ware, born September 2, 1918, departed this life September 30, 2001. Preceded in death by parents Rev. and Mrs. Moses Ware, six brothers, and two sisters. Survived by wife, Flora J.; sons, Claude L., R.E., Michael, and David Ware; daughters; Lynn (Miles) McAfee, Berkeley, Calif. and Pamela (David) Hancock; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Corine Craver and Catherine Gordon; one brother, Marvin (Lois) Ware; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service Saturday 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Community Baptist Church, 608 Stambaugh Avenue, where the family will receive friends 9 a.m. until start of service. Minister Albert Williams, officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street.
