Christine Johnson Ware Obituary, 2016

Mrs. Christine Johnson Ware, age 81, of Batesville MS, passed away this afternoon, February 4, 2016 at her home. She is the widow of the late Walter Earl Ware.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 08, 2016, at 11:00 AM in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 AM until time of service. Interment will immediately follow at Blackjack Presbyterian Cemetery.

Christine was born to Jim Shepard and Lillie Turner Shepard on February 14, 1934, in Water Valley, MS. She was a retired custodian from South Panola School district. In her past time she enjoyed quilting and making blankets.

Those left behind to cherish Ms. Ware’s blessed memory include her son, Henry Johnson, Sr. of Batesville, MS; two sisters Lee Hawkins of Water Valley, MS, Ruby Sullivant of Batesville, MS; four grandchildren Lisa Nolan, Katie Ford, Henry Johnson, Jr., Danny Johnson; six great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Christine was preceded in death by one daughter Martha Johnson Hernandez; one sister Cliffie Mae Bright; one brother Carl Griffis.

Dorothy Gene Ware Obituary, 2016

Dorothy Gene Ware, 75, of Luxora passed away on August 4th, 2016 in Jonesboro. She was born on April 2nd, 1941 in Round Pond, AR to John Hawkins and Jessie Gillom. She was a resident of the Luxora area for 55 years where she served as a homemaker, a member of the Mt. Israel M.B Church, and was the former church secretary.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Hawkins and Jessie Gillom;

One sister, Charlean William;

One brother, Lee Gillom;

And two infant sons, Joel and Isaac Ware.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie Ware of Luxora;

Four daughters, Freda (Kelvin) Crawford of Fort Worth, TX, Teresa (Kirby) McDonald of Luxora, Debbie Ware of Fort Worth, TX, and Ruth Ware of Luxora;

One son, Freddy (Tyra) Ware of Luxora;

Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Friday, August 12th, 2016 at 1 p.m. and will last until 2 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The Funeral will be the same day, after the visitation at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. She is to be buried at the Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Rev. George Ware will serve as the officiating minister and Wilson Funeral Home Osceola is in charge of funeral services.

Kenneth Marvin Ware Obituary, 2016

CEDAR BLUFF — Kenneth Marvin Ware, 77, died Aug. 14, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shane Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery near Houston. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Ware was born Sept. 13, 1938, to the late Eddie Jackson and Edna Mae Potnick Ware in Chickasaw County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was previously employed in the research and development department with Bryan Foods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delia Yvonne Johnson; and brother, Eddie Wayne Ware. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Huffman Ware of Cedar Bluff; daughters, Debora Ware Poss of West Point and Susan Are Terry of Cedar Bluff; sons, Kenneth Ware of West Point and Paul Ware of Cedar Bluff; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jerry Johnson, Alex Millsaps, David Ware, Wayne Ware, Ricky Blake and Butch Blake. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 2219 E. Main St., Columbus, MS 39701.

Ware, Robert Snedeker “Bob”, age 69, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died November 1, 2016. Bob was a member of Priest Lake Presbyterian Church. He was the son of the late, Robert Snedeker Ware, Sr. and Arnot Todd Ware.

Camilla Ware Obituary, 1996

GREENWOOD – Camilla Ware, 80, of Dublin, Ohio, formerly of Greenwood, retired educator after about 30 years, died of heart failure May 3 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Plain Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Hogue Cemetery in Carroll County. Sanders & Sanders Funeral Home has charge. She leaves two daughters, Vernal Brown of Dublin and Flossie Ware of Memphis; a son, Henry Ware III of Harvey, Ill; a brother, William H. Logan of Dublin, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Vivian Ware Arnett Obituary, 1997

VIVIAN WARE ARNETT, 43, of Southaven, office manager for Barry Bouchillon’s State Farm Insurance, died of cancer Saturday at Methodist Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with burial in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. She was named 1995-96 Businesswoman of the Year for DeSoto County Businesswomen’s Association. Mrs. Arnett, the wife of Ricky Arnett, also leaves a daughter, Carmen Arnett; a son, Kyle Arnett; her parents, Nannette Ware and Jimmie Ware, and a sister, Nancy Martin, all of Southaven. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Lake Forest Baptist Church Building Fund.
