Civil War Papers

These items mainly concern Cincinnatus J. Ware and William S. Ware who served with Company A, Fifth Regiment of Virginia Cavalry, residents of Henrico County, Virginia, in 1866.
These papers include chiefly military records: passes, rolls, orders, etc., correspondence and an affidavit deal with a replacement horse for Ware and a receipt for a horse sold to the Army for $2500 to pay for C. J. Wares expenses following his death.
