Burwell S. Ware Obituary, 2011

Burwell S. Ware, 88, of Canfield, OH, and formerly of Kabletown, WV,  died Thursday June 2, 2011 in Ohio.

Born November 9, 1922, at Woodbyrne Farm, Kabletown, WV.

He was the  son of James Edgar Ware, Jr., and Anna Mazie Haskett Ware.


Mr. Ware owned and operated Woodbyrne Farm for over fifty years.


Mr. Ware was a graduate of Charles Town High School, class of 1942, a member of the Kabletown Methodist Church, a member of the South Jefferson Ruritan, and the Henry Kyd Douglas Sons of Confederate Veterans.


He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca K. Borman and husband Gary, of Canfield, their children, James  R., Jen, Christian P., and Meg Borman.

He is also survived by a brother, James Edgar Ware, Jr,. and wife Judy, of Pennsylvania.


In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet D. “Jiggs” Donovan Ware who died June 2, 2000; and sister Louise Heskett Ware Ramey.


Services held at 11 am Tuesday, June 7,  2011, at Kabletown United Methodist Church, Rev. Sharon Bourgeois presiding.

Internment will be at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, WV.
