“W.W. Ware came into our sanctum for a chat
the other day and ordered the HERALD sent to
him while he was at Sterling transcribing the
Phillips County records. Mr. Ware says that
they are progressing finely. There are over 800
final receipts issued in our new county, while in
Sedgwick there are less than 100. Mr. Ware is now
at work on the eighth volume of the transcribed
records and is going to push the work to completion
just as rapidly as is possible with a view to correct-
ness and accuracy.”
