Will of John Abel Ware (1809 - 1881)
Know all men by these presents, that I
John Abel Ware, of the County of Cleveland
State of North Carolina, considering
the uncertainty of this life, and being of
Sound mind and memory, do make,
declare and publish this my last will
and testament
First. I give and bequeath unto my
beloved wife, Mary Ann, the use, improvement
and income of my dwelling House, lands and
and personal property their appurtenances,
situate in the County of Cleveland State of
North Carolina, to have and to hold the same
to her, for and during her natural life.
Second. After the death of my beloved wife
Mary Ann, I give and bequeath to my
Son Crowder the dwelling house in
which I now live with all the out buildings
and one hundred acres of land, the
same to be laid of and Measured
by three discreet and disintere¹d Men
provided that my said son Crowder
shall Keep and Maintain my deaf-mute
daughters and my deaf-mute son
Columbus.
The remainder of my property
personal and real to be divided
between the remainder of my children
as may be determined by law.
In testimony whereof, I have this day,
to this my last will and testament, set my
my hand and seal. In the year of our
Lord One thousand, Eight hundred and
Eighty-one 2nd day of March.
