“William Ware was born in Campbell County, Georgia to the parents of William J. Ware (Athens, Clarke, Georgia) and Hester Ann Miller. After his father’s death in 1883 he lived on the family land with his siblings and mother. In 1898 he moved to Anniston (along with his mother and siblings). William worked in Iron Mfg. at the Anniston Steel Mill. William died from bronchial pnuemonia that resulted from complications of influenza.”
